Ok, so you ask, how do I know? I was a member of Wealthy Affiliate, and I left and came back. Yep, that’s right. I was a member for 2 years, then left and rejoined. Now, why would I do something like that? Let’s find out in this Wealthy Affiliate Insider Review.

I learned so much at Wealthy Affiliate that I thought I knew it all. So I stepped out on my own only to realize the support and training from the members and special training was still something I valued and needed. Without further delay, let’s dive right into my insider review of Wealthy Affiliate from one who knows—the good and the bad and everything in between.

Everything in life has good and bad, but does the good outweigh the bad? I will give you a lot of information here, my opinion, and my recommendation because I am a realist who has made her dreams a reality. So let’s dive in to see an in-depth look at WA.

First Let’s Talk About Affiliate Marketing

Wealthy Affiliate is a platform to learn Affiliate Marketing also known as online marketing; with this in mind, what is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a 4 part circle, which includes the affiliate marketer (you), the customer who buys a product you promote, a commission you make, and a happy consumer.

Affiliate Marketing, it is a 4-step method, moreover, we will break these 4-steps down a bit and see where Wealthy Affiliate comes into play.

1. Choose An Interest

We will refer to your interest as a niche or a passion; in addition, it is what you will build your business around. It is a passion or something that you are interested in that you will promote to your followers, the consumer.

I am a firm believer that a niche is the most important step in creating your online business because you will build your website around your interest. Not to mention after you choose a niche, you will create content to promote products.

2. Build A Website

This second step sounds a bit overwhelming to many, but it is actually the easiest step. Today creating a website is a simple drag and drop process, yet back when I set up my first website, it took me months. Yes, months! I sat on Youtube with at least 10 windows open at a time and followed a video in tiny increments to set up my site. In fact, I heard that it took Kyle one month to do the same task years ago, of course, he is much more tech-savvy than I was when I started.

You don’t have to code a website or follow a YouTube video today. It is wayyy more fun now and has more of an instant gratification feeling than when I began.

Your new website will soon be ready to promote your chosen niche and reach the world. Step 2 is so exciting and fulfilling.

3. Attract Visitors

Now that you have a website, it is extremely important to have people come to your website to see what you offer. At this point, everything you do is to help others.

A person finds your website because they searched for a problem, then they see what you offer, and it solves their problem. There are specific things to do to help the consumer find your website. This attraction is known as traffic, either free or paid.

• Paid traffic is advertising on paid sites such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, and YouTube, to mention a few.
• Free traffic involves SEO optimization or, in other words, helping the search engines to recognize your site and place it on page one of page one on Google, where people can find it. Free traffic is the way to go when you are starting. When you begin, time is worth money, and money is what you want to make.

4. Earn Revenue/Make Money

Now that you have a niche, a website, and have optimized your site, it is time to make money. Making money with affiliate marketing is not a get-rich-quick business, on the contrary, it takes time to create and brand your market. Which means it takes time for Google to give you a “shout-out” and put your site on page one, additionally, it takes effort and knowledge to get to the money-making step.

Every second you put into your business is worth the outcome; as a result, you help people solve a problem, and you get a reward when you make a commission.

In addition, you won’t get rich quick. As a matter of fact, you won’t find that type of business anywhere. Many scams will tell you this, but WA is not one of them.

Affiliating Training

Let’s look inside the Wealthy Affiliate platform. First, when you sign into the WA platform, you will see this very subtle banner.

Once you click on the get started tab, it opens up a whole training world. To begin with, you can take 10 courses for a total of 50 lessons. In the event, you are fast and can devote a lot of time in a short period. You can take these 50 lessons before you become a premium member.

Live Webinars And Expert Classes

Every week Jay, a 14-year member of WA, does live weekly webinars. Each week it is different, like education on using WordPress block editor or setting up automated campaign emails. In addition, at the end of each live webinar, he always has his “famous live question and answers” session.

Jay is a lot of fun and a powerhouse of knowledge and as a premium member, you have access to these recorded webinars. Not to mention, if you can’t make the live session, he records them for you to access later.

WA does offer extra classes, but most of them are in the Premium Plus package. Super-affiliates of WA provide these expert classes, which is a person with advanced knowledge in affiliate marketing. When you step inside the Wealthy Affiliate platform, you may wonder what the gold crowns and purple diamonds mean above everyone’s profile picture. The purple diamond is a premium member, and the gold crown is a premium plus member. Furthermore, the color of the icon a person has will correspond with the training access each level has.

Tools For Success

Let’s talk about 2 tools that are exclusive to Wealthy Affiliate, which are Siterubix and Jaaxy. Kyle, and Carson developed these tools with Wealthy Affiliate members in mind.

Siterubix

Siterubix is a free website-building tool. What do I mean by “free?” When you step into Wealthy Affiliate and log in, you can build a website on a Siterubix domain. It is a state-of-the-art website-building tool created by Kyle and Carson exclusively for WA members.

You can put this website onto the internet, but I suggest building your site on a free Siterubix domain and transferring it to a domain you purchase later. One that is a .com or .org or .net because Google will like it better, and we all want Google to like us. But wait until you get it all built and decide on a domain name.

Jaxxy

As you progress through the training, you will learn about keyword research. Kyle and Carson created Jaaxy in the beginning, again, it is a WA tool but not exclusive to WA. You can join Jaaxy and not be a member of WA, but when you are a Premium member of WA, you also get Jaaxy Lite free. Likewise, when you upgrade to Premium Plus, you get Jaaxy Enterprise free. It is perfect for a beginner; not to mention, Wealthy Affiliate will teach you how to use it and how keyword research is imperative to success.

Personal Support And Mentor/ With 100,000s Of Successful Minds To Tap Into

The support at Wealthy Affiliate is like none I have seen anywhere else. As a matter of fact, there are thousands of people to help answer questions and make you feel more comfortable learning more quickly. Are there drawbacks to this? Of course, but I will cover those in the benefits and drawbacks later.

When you step inside the Wealthy Affiliate platform, your mentor will be the person whose website you clicked on to reach WA. I have to warn you here, granted, not all people who promote WA are good mentors.

I, for one, am passionate about mentoring yo, as a result, I will be here for you all the way. Actually, I learned all I know from Wealthy Affiliate.

At WA, not only am I here for you but a whole community of like-minded people who have been through what you are about to do. There is an area within WA that you can ask questions, in addition, you have the option to direct your question toward experts in that area. The question is then sent to those who identify themselves as experts in that area, and any number of members will give you an answer.

Write An Article

You can write a blog post to the community to tell about your success, inform other members of new findings, or practice your writing. To say nothing of, the members of WA that you follow will get notification of your post and make comments on it.

Create New Training

After you have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for 3 months, you can create training sessions for the community. Moreover, after 3 months, you will have a vast amount of knowledge you may want to share with new members.

Wealthy Affiliate Plan Options And Pricing

You have a choice of 3 options within the WA platform. First your option is the starter membership, then, when you log in you will have 7 days to try the platform. At the end of that 7-day trial you will be billed for the premium plan, given that, you stay on after the 7-day trial is over. During that 7-day trial you will have access to all of the Premium benefits, then again if you stop after the 7-day trial you will lose access. You can easily see the comparison between the two plans, but here is one thing that I want to point out. When you see the “heading” toward the bottom, you will see the price of Jaaxy. However, if you were to sign up for Jaaxy Enterprise without becoming a WA member, it would cost $99 a month. BUT when you become a Premium Plus member, it is included in the plan. In other words, it’s like getting the plan free, or you can think of it as getting Jaaxy free. Either way, it is a steal! 

Benefits And Drawbacks

As with any platform or program on the market, there are both good and bad aspects; with this in mind, having been a member and left and am now back, I have an insider view of each.

In light of this review, the real questions are:

1. Can you learn how to become a successful affiliate marketer at Wealthy Affiliate? The answer is YES, you can. In the beginning, I learned all I knew at Wealthy Affiliate, to put it differently, Affiliate Marketing things that it would have taken years and so many hours to research on my own.
2. Does Wealthy Affiliate have some drawbacks? Likewise, the answer is YES, but in my opinion, the positive aspects outweigh the negative after all; I did go back a year ago.

My advice is to follow the training and write out your goals for each week, as well as, keep your hand to the grind and learn all you can. In addition, apply what you know, and on those days when you may get discouraged, stand up tall and keep moving forward because I am right here to help.

Oh, one more thing. If you are a beginner, I believe the Premium membership is sufficient until you learn more and are ready to move up. However, if you are an experienced Affiliate Marketer, you will benefit from the Premium Plus membership right out of the gate.

There are a few things I would like to talk about under this section which are things you will want to consider before you join Wealthy Affiliate.

The Good

• I will always be here to help you because your success is important to me, and as long as you are willing to allow me to help you help yourself, you will have full access to me.
• Are you willing to accept help? You will have thousands of community members here to help you, and all you have to do is be willing to ask.

The Dedicated

• Are you willing to give of your time? Will you dedicate time to yourself to grow your business? With this in mind, WA is not a get-rich-quick platform; however, like any other business, Affiliate Marketing takes determination and tenacity to succeed.
• Will you commit to writing content for your website? There are very few people who are born writers, with this in mind, most of us, including myself, had to practice and follow the training to learn to write content. If you are willing to learn and give yourself time to improve, then affiliate marketing is for you.
• Are you willing to pay a monthly fee for the long term? Affiliate Marketing is not be an overnight success, nor will it happen in the first month or two. Additionally, it may not even happen for 6 months, yet you will still have a $49 a month fee. If you are not willing to stick it out at this monthly rate or cannot afford it, you may want to take a different route. However, many of the alternative options are scams that promise the world and take your money.
